Ah, the internet. There are so many online stores that it is hard to find one with the best price for that item for which you are looking. Books come in different conditions, and sometimes you might want a brand-new book, and sometimes you may want a used book for a better price. You may even want a signed book!
Called the “Google of rare books” by the Irish Times, BookFinder, a subsidiary of the popular AbeBooks, lets you do just that. You can choose “Any,” “New,” “Used/Out of Print,” “First edition,” and/or “Signed copy.” So, say you are looking for a signed copy of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which can be in any condition. You put that in the “Title” box, and then you select the button next to “Any” and the check box next to “Signed copy.”

It’s that time of year again. Microsoft recently came out with a new version of Windows called Windows 7, and computer manufacturers are making newer and faster computers. It is likely that many people want to buy new equipment, and they can figure out how to do so by going through the following steps.
1. Pick a comfortable screen size.
This is one of the most important steps, as portability is key when choosing laptops. However, some people prefer bigger screens if they work with graphics or videos. For a mainstream laptop, most computer manufacturers make 13- to 15-inch laptops that can easily fit in a backpack or in a briefcase. However, many also make larger laptops, some even up to 18 inches. These are not portable, and they are very difficult to take from place to place.

It’s after the holidays, and some people are probably still sending gifts out to their relatives and friends. If it’s a high-ticket gift, I’m sure that they would like to know when the package is getting to the person and would like to track it.
Especially if someone is sending a lot of gifts, it is difficult to keep track of them. You have to keep all of those tracking numbers in a file so that you can search them every so often. Packagetrackr serves to alleviate people of this issue. It keeps track of all of your packages in your account, and it shows them in a clean, easy-to-use interface.

The picture you see to the right of this text may not seem as “finished” as your aluminum MacBook Pro or your space-saving Mac Mini. But this system, the Apple II, was one of the first systems that Apple Computer produced, and back then, it was a revolutionary item.
X-Men move
Back then, in 1977, it wasn’t even called a Macintosh. That came later. The system pictured cost at the least $1298, with a relatively measly 1.0 MHz processor and a 6 colors maximum display. To think how much innovation must have went on in Silicon Valley, Cal. since then is a compelling thought.

Are you confused about whether to get a Mac or a PC? This guide should help you out.
I am always asked this question: “Are you a Mac or a PC?” I always answer, “I’m a PC.” In fact, I’m writing this post with Windows Live Writer (note the emphasis on Windows). However, Macs are fine too. They’re shiny, and they’re…shiny. That’s pretty much it.
Some people believe that Macs are better for photo editing. I disagree. PCs have some great photo editing software also, and believe it or not, Adobe Photoshop is also Vista-compatible.
To clear some issues up, I’ve devised a comparison chart for getting a Mac or a PC.
